Just over 20 years ago I took my passion for helping people get the most out of their Microsoft software, and I launched it into a successful technology training business.
Since then, I have taught thousands of people through classroom training sessions, online live training sessions and online self-paced training courses.
My journey has been very typical of anyone who owns a business. It's had its highs and lows, but what I've learned during the lows has been a major factor in me now having a business generating 6 figures annually, with more than 50% of the revenue coming from passive income.
Pivoting my business in times of change
Building my business wasn't easy. I struggled with things like self-doubt, fear and overwhelm.
I worked my bum off trying to make it work while raising a family, running a home and lifestyle block, and in general trying to have a life. TBH, I was burned out, and stressed out. I wasn’t living my best life.

In March 2020 New Zealand went into Covid lockdown, my business ground to a halt and I totally broke down. I had to let staff go. I didn’t want to get out of bed and face the reality that my business was flat lining. I’m pretty sure I cried for 2 whole weeks.
I had to face the reality that if I didn’t pivot and try a different approach my business was screwed.
I was determined not to give up. So, I started to work on me, not my business. I started on a path of self-discovery and personal development, and I quickly started to see my life and my business in a whole new way.
I took a leap and went fully online!
My onsite coaching classes are now delivered online live over the Internet.
I also now have pre-recorded online courses which are available in 5 different countries.
Additionally my Blog and YouTube channel provide two more income streams.
As a result, my business is now turning over figures never reached before.

Today I’m happier than I have ever been, both in my personal life and in my business life., I turn over more profit than ever before, and I work a fraction of the time that I would have in my old business.

Best of all, I get to enjoy the journey with two of my besties, my beautiful daughter Shania, and my son’s gorgeous partner Makyla. AND I get to hang all day with my fur babies, Floyd and Toby.

I wouldn’t describe myself as having any super-powers. I didn’t go to Uni. I’m not a tech geek. When I started, I didn’t have a massive wad of cash to help me out. I was a mum of two, with a mortgage just trying to make ends meet.
Now, I feel so blessed to have been able to navigate to a place where I’m living the best life.
Shania, Mak, and I all have a life where we make a living working from home, making a living online. And with the pandemic still disrupting so many things we are grateful every day for what we have.
With the challenges of the last few years have hurt so many around the globe, impacting families in so many ways Shania, Mak and I felt we had so much we could share to help anyone wanting to reboot, like we did. [Read about Mak’s journey and Shania’s journey].
Our intention is to share with you the things that have worked for us in giving us such a great work/life balance. We also want to help you to avoid the things that we did wrong, that cost us time, money and heartache. We don’t want that for you. No way!
